Helpful Tips for a Successful Festival
Maifest is basically Oktoberfest in May. Here are some basic tips and information to make your festival experience great!
There is a nominal entrance fee of $6 for adults for the provision of our German bands. Kids under 12 are free.
The children's play area has a supervisor for the arts and crafts but she is not a babysitter. So please monitor your children.
You can reserve a table for large groups under the following guidelines. We will hold your reservation for about 20 minutes before giving away your table. If all of your party is not here at the reservation time, or if some of your guests leave, please offer the empty seats to others.
Please do not ask your server to split checks for large groups.
Be prepared to offer a driver's license or credit card to start your tab. Or, you can elect to pay cash as you go.
You may also pay cash for beer or food at the outside vending areas, so bring some cash. Most food items from the menu are available at the outside grill. At the inside bar, we accept cash only.
Please do not move from table to table unless you notify your server.
Because the seating is mostly outside, we encourage you to dress in layers, as it can get chilly in the evening.
There is no seating inside the main dining room.
Dogs are welcome. However, it does get very busy underfoot. So we recommended leaving pets at home.
As always, we provide fine German glassware for your beer drinking enjoyment and they are available for purchase. So, there is no need to take them out under your jacket.
We rent the same portable toilets that are used at the Concourse d'Elegance. They have running water in each unit. Please let us know if they need attention. Elderly, pregnant women, and handicapped may use the restaurant bathrooms upon request.
